Stamped curbing is a modest upgrade over plain curbing. The additional cost covers the stamping process and any color enhancements. Most homeowners find the visual upgrade well worth the difference.
How long do the stamp patterns last?
The patterns are pressed into the concrete itself — they don't wear off. With proper sealing every 2-3 years, the patterns and colors remain vibrant for the life of the curbing.
Can I combine stamped patterns with color?
Absolutely. In fact, we recommend it. Integral color or stain combined with stamping creates the most realistic and attractive results.
Will the stamps crack or chip?
The stamped patterns are part of the concrete structure, not a surface coating. They have the same durability as the curbing itself.
