The Problem

Every Spring, the Same Fight

Plastic edging pops out of the ground. Metal edging rusts and bends. Stone borders shift, settle, and let weeds through. Every spring you're back on your hands and knees, re-edging, pulling weeds, and fighting a losing battle.

Mulch migrates into the lawn. Grass invades the garden beds. Hours of string trimming along borders that never stay straight. It's the most frustrating part of yard maintenance.

The Solution

Concrete Edging — Once and Done

A continuous concrete border is extruded directly on-site, creating a seamless barrier between your lawn and landscape beds. No joints for weeds to penetrate. No pieces to shift or settle. No annual re-edging.

The mower-friendly profile means your mower wheel rides right along the edge — eliminating string trimming. Your landscaping stays defined, your lawn stays clean, and your weekends stay free.

Installation Process

Most projects completed in a single day

01

Design & Layout

We visit your property, measure the edging path, discuss profile and color options, and provide a firm quote.

02

Ground Preparation

Existing edging is removed. The path is marked with string lines and stakes, and the ground is graded for proper placement.

03

Extrusion

Concrete is mixed on-site and fed through an extrusion machine that shapes the curbing profile as it is placed — creating a continuous, seamless border.

04

Finishing & Sealing

Edges are cleaned, stamping applied if selected, and the surface is sealed with UV-resistant sealer for lasting color and protection.

"We had KIK do a brick retaining wall which turned out looking fabulous! We also had them tear out our old large bushes, put down a barrier, and then add river rock. It turned out very nice."

Landscape Edging FAQ

How long does landscape edging last?

Properly installed and maintained concrete edging lasts 15-25 years or more. Regular resealing every 2-3 years extends the life and maintains the color.

Can I install edging around existing trees?

Yes. Tree rings are one of our most popular applications. We install the edging at a distance that allows for tree growth and root expansion.

How soon can I mulch after installation?

We recommend waiting 5-7 days before placing mulch or soil against the new curbing to allow proper curing.

Does edging affect my sprinkler system?

We work around existing sprinkler heads and irrigation lines. If adjustments are needed, we coordinate with you before installation.

Can I mow right up to the edging?

Yes. The curbing profile is designed so your mower wheel rides right along the edge, eliminating the need for string trimming in most cases.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer up to 12 months same-as-cash financing and longer-term payment plans.
